
Blueberry & Raspberry Sundaes
Makes 4 Servings
INGREDIENTS
1 cup raspberries
12 oz blueberries
1 tbs honey
2 tbs fresh orange juice
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp almond extract
1 pint nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt
1 1 4 tbs chopped toasted walnuts (optional)
DIRECTIONS for Blueberry & Raspberry Sundaes
Place half of the raspberries in a medium glass bowl. Mash lightly with a fork. Add the blueberries, orange juice, vanilla, almond extract and the remaining raspberries. Stir well to mix. Cover and let stand for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Scoop the frozen yogurt into 4 dessert dishes. Stir the berry mixture and spoon over yogurt. (optional -Add chopped walnuts) Enjoy!
